What do you actually see? And what is still hidden from your eyes?
‘Along the Lines’ is a years-long art project, a self-made art residency by artist and city researcher Natalia Irina Roman with the state-owned German railway company Deutsche Bahn. In this project, she examines railway infrastructure as a space for art. She transforms former interlocking towers along the railways into art spaces which can be seen from passing trains and station platforms. By looking at art installations in these spaces, train passengers become art spectators and their journeys artistic experiences.
